I was looking at putting an extended threaded barrel on my 1911 for an over the top compensator or flash hider for a fun project.

Where can I acquire one of these for a full framed steel 1911?
 
funny enough i was looking at this myself today. At a quick glance of the internets brownells has some for $230. But anything on brownells over $100 needs an export permit which is a pain. so i am sure if you browse around you can find something
