Hello, i have a 1911 i have just finished customizing for IPSC classic.
I am usually very comfortable repairing/modding my firearms, so i fitted all parts myself.
My build is an STI trojan 40, with complete SVI springs/trigger group /hammer. Also installed Aftec/EGW/Wilson combat/techwell parts but they need no tuning.
The gun runs good right now, i would still desire a final trigger tune by a gunsmith. My SVI parts we're simply fitted, i have not bent anything on sear spring or adjusted trigger bow. I doubt sear/disconector/hammer need any polishing as my trigger is already breaking sub 2#

I wish to have a bit more prep to my trigger, break the shot at a definite 2.5#, and have reset adjusted to my liking. Probably get beavertail pinned too while there. Any idea who i should consult?
Previous threads and yellow pages suggest gunco, just looking at my options here.

Yeah that's the thing you know, I have seen/heard lot's of people rant about the guys mood, myself I have a very corrosive way around moody people.
i'll see, right now work has taken another turn and getting this 1911 ready for comps is not my #1 priority anymore, once I get back to it, seems like my options are either A; call and schedule an appointment with Jason if I feel nice and tolerant, or B; just ship it to a different gunsmith if i'm intolerant to negative people at that time.

Just for curiosity, do you guys know if Jason hard chromes firearms also? Just for future reference.

Yogi, cool thanks. I'll be around the next few days if i see you i'll come and see you!
Gaff, it's hard to imagine someone could tire kick a gunsmith but i guess they are some out there. If Jason sells firearms i can so much imagine how much time can be wasted on this (ie; tirekickers & big talkers)
