1911 grips

Bought a Para 1911 today and am just waiting for CFO approval to pick up, it's all black and was wondering what are some nice grips to put on it? Not looking for anything too flashy

These grips are nice but they're wrap around so if your para is double stack this will do you no good.

If you don't mind spending a bit o coin, say round 100, try Hogue but do a search on their site for the G10 grips. Was looking at a set for my Sig p226....a tad pricey buuuut "If ya wanna play, ya gotta pay" phenomenon right man?

In that case yes I like how the als look but the all rubber ones fit and feel better imo.

Personally I run Pachmayr's Signature Grips on my 1911, I like a really big grip on my pistols.

Really grippy an they bulge out a bit which I find really fits my hand well.

I like the look of the Hogue and Pachmayr's finger grooved grips but not sure how well the grooves would work for me, maybe I'll try them later down the road but as is I'm pretty happy.

I've put VZs on the last four 1911s I've owned. I really like them--and they have a wide range of textures, patterns and materials.
