1911 holster for a Sig Spartan, what fits??

I was looking for a holster today for the Sig 1911 that I bought. I found a BlackHawk Serpa but I took it over to the gun counter and the Sig was super tight in the holster! Almost got stuck in there. They tried a Kimber and it was fine.
I know that Sig has a slightly different shape on their slide, so the question is this... What and where do I find a similar holster for my 1911 that I know will fit a Sig??

comp-tac make a good holster specifically for the sig slide profil i do believe
 
Your right, Freedom ventures has an ITAC-SIG1911 holster. It is 10 bucks more than the normal 1911 ITAC holster but I guess you can see that coming!
Is ITAC that much better than BlackHawk? It kind of looks like the same type of retention system?
 
I'm not sure where al lithe hate come,but I love serpa holsters! I had the same problem finding a holster for my norc 1911 it seems the size and shape can vary

nope, and neither do the majority of respected trainers in the US. if you really want an extra level of retention then go with a safariland because they have a much better system. aside from the fact that it puts your finger near your trigger (exactly how near depends on the gun, and your hand size) if you ever use it on a course where you hit the dirt (that is, if the trainer lets you use it, as i said most dont) then a rock under that button will leave you cutting you gun out of the holster. a quick google should provide examples of that as well.

Its a stupid system that creates issues rather than eliminates issues
