1911 in Stainless with Rail ???

I want a 1911 in stainless steel with a rail on it - maybe thats too much to ask for. I am having a hell of a time finding one.

The only two I can come up with are the Kimber TLE / RL II and the Taurus PT 1911. The Operator is only available in Black (although a damn nice gun).

The Taurus is a lower end gun and there are a lot of mixed reviews on it. I would rather skip it altogether. I can't seem to find a dealer with the Kimber in stock. Does anyone know of a good Kimber dealer with inventory?

Perhaps a recommendation on another gun I am missing?

Perhaps the reason you won't find many 1911's sporting rails,

is the same reason you don't find many models wearing braces.

It was around $1,600 - definitely not cheap.

It's a fantastic shooter, great trigger, no FTF's or FTE's with around 750 to 800 rounds down the pipe.

Canstar Arms 1911? All there guns are stainless and some models have rails. Never seen or fired one though.

canstar is like a ghost, no one returns emails or calls and I know no one who owns one.
I have been trying to contact them to spend my money for a year now with no success.
