1911 llama jams

i am having alot of trouble with jamming. picking up 2 at a time. i have polished the feed ramp,tried lead round nose and fmj"s. any suggestions?

Try changing mags ---sounds to me like you may have a bad one

Yup, go with a different mag. I used Wilson's but there are probably others that will work just as well.

Ihave a Llama. but I don't have any jamming problems. maybe you mag lips are not properly lined up?

P.S. does anyone know of any other grips that fit the Llama 1911? Kimber?
Springfield? Colt doesn't fit!

Is it actually trying to feed 2 or is it failing to extract the round in the chamber ? ie, does it happen after inserting a fresh mag or after you have taken a shot or two.

Llamas are a pain, some parts from 1911's fit with no issues but there are some that need a bit of massaging to work, I have a list here somehere, I'll try and dig it up.

The XI-B seemed notorious for this problem - stock mag can be made to work better by opening up the lips but the mag follower/barrel ramp path is still problematic with anything but ball ammo. Wilson mags worked for me, Colt (or Colt knock-offs?) worsened the feeding problems.

Thanks for your input. I will try a new mag and it tries loading 2 at a time it extracts and ejects fine.
