I know the real answer is just buy new mags but I have half a dozen 1911 mags without base pads that will feed anything even if dropped in the dirt. My thumb and them have become acquainted enough that I know all the sharp edges.
But....I added a mag well on the gun and these are now not exactly fast to get into action. Does anyone in Canada stock a good mag base pad that will stick to a GI style mag either glue / screw or duct tape?
