1911 magazines

I want to buy some 1911 magazines. 7 rounders. What brand I should look for?

I'm considering Mec-Gar, Norinco, Metalform, between others.

Is it advisable to buy mags with a removable baseplate? Metalform has them but I never removed a follower from the top.

As for price goes if Nork mags are good quality and dependable they must be the way to go.

Get wilson mags, best ones out there

Get ChipMccormick 8-shot clips...they look like stock 7 rounders (Flush with bottom of mag-wel) but hold eight. Strong springs and are very reliable...cheap too, I think I paid $19.99 each got 5 brand new mags.

Did you have to get those from the US or did you find them in Canada for that price?
