Hello world,

My Norc came with one mag. I do have extra 7 rounders made by MecGar which are very nice but I was considering buying a couple GI/Colt design ones as well.

Since a spare Norc mag is cheaper than anything else, should I buy one of those or would it be better to go for Cylinder'n'Slide, Kimber, Colt, etc?

I guess I need help from somebody with a few thousand rounds through a few brands of mags. :)
 
I have bought the Novak mags for both my 1911 and my P220, they are fantastic quality for a really good price. Gunner at Armco has a bunch of them for sale at a really good price and he is great to deal with.
 
I bought 6 Chip McCormick 8 Round "Shooting Star" Magazines when I had my Colt 1991A1....................Never had a problem with any of them..............Also had a few New USGI .45 mags fresh outta the original wrapper..........no problems with them as well.......

Not .45, but I am using MetalForm 9mm mags. in my NP29, and am very satisfied with them. I would expect their .45 magazines to be equally good. Hard to beat the price, around $20 each del'd.
 
Where do you get those Metalform mags from?

As for the USGI mags I guess I must expect the same reliability as the Norc ones?
