1911 mags

That little loop thing on the bottom keeps getting caught on things. Should I just use a hacksaw to cut it off, or an angle grinder? How do I smooth out the bottom of the mag once I am done? A file?

I want to put aluminum bumpers on the bottom. Can you weld alum and steel together? Oh well, it doesnt matter, they are only 1911 mags. Tons of them out there if I mess up.

I certainly hope so. Can;t say I have ever seen C-broad-arrow marked 1911 magazines. Would these happen to be from the Ross factory?

Yes, I am joking. Did some searching and it seems that they have sold in the $200 range each in recent months.
