Fusion Firearms has really nice ones for cheap...
Dilligaf,
What FMSH did you go with for your GSG?
How much was shipping to Nova Scotia??

I would keep the plastic main spring housing unless you want to upgrade with a magwell.
I also can't believe Kimber would put a non-stainless barrell in their Eclipse Target 11
I bought the DLASK stainless magwell. Pretty much a drop in part for my Sig 1911. Unfortunately I had to send the part out to Arma-Coat to have it nitron finished to match my Sig.
Marstar carries magwells for around $65. Not sure what the quality is like. I do like Ed Brown parts too. Never had any issues with them. I've ordered Wilson Combat parts on a couple occasions from Brownells without any issues but I think Ed Brown parts are nicer finished.
Your recent SIG picture with the silver safety/slide release/beavertail has inspired me to upgrade those parts to stainless, with a stainless magwell too.

Why bother to replace it. I've never had one break yet and nobody really cares if it is plastic or metal. If you really want a metal one, get the Wilson Combat. Get yourself a couple of extra mags instead IMO.
Honestly, as I have said, it is just a personal preference. It's just wierd having a premium firearm with a plastic part on it.
My Norchinko 45 Sport model came with a plastic MSH and i swaped it out to a steel Wilson one.
