When I took my restricted course the instructor had 2x 1911 style pistols. He said they were "service" pistols. They had no Caliber markings on them. They were green. I know it's not that good of a description but is anyone able to identify them?

The instructor told us they they could be bought for very cheap (about 200$ used)

If they were real & original WWII vintage USGI 1911A-1 pistols & functional then he was off by a few hundred dollars... But since they were probably "dewat" course guns then besides being "useless" maybe only worth about $200 each.

They were not original 1911 WW2 pistols. They did not have ANY markings on them and they did not have the "flat" sides to the slide, they were bevelled.
