Dawson precision is offering 'Alumabuffs' as an alternative to plastic shockbuffs for 1911's.
Has anyone used these? Is aluminum really usefull as a recoil dampener?? I'm not an expert on metals but I dont see how it would be superior to disposable rubber/plastic buffs.
