1911 Shoulder Stock

[Remote Six]

Came across a shoulder stock for a 1911, with the slotted main spring housing for it. Can anyone tell me what it's worth?

I`ve always wanted to try shooting the Browning HP, Mauser M96 or the 1911 with shoulder stock. Let us know whats its like. I think it would shoot to different point of impact. But cool find.

I've been interested too, but I don't own a 1911. I found it locally looking for a luger shoulder stock.

I remember these "kits". I think they were sold by Numrich and came with a 16 inch (406.4 mm) barrel. The barrel was to replace the standard 5 inch (127 mm) barrel when the stock was attached so the pistol would not become a Short Barreled Rifle (SBR) that would require registration under the National Firearms Act (NFA) here in the U. S. A. . As I seem to remember they were made in Italy.

I have one that came with a WWII colt pistol I bought. I don't think it's the same stock numerich had but similar. IIRC these were of South American origin and issue with the systima colt copy's. I could be off but when I researched mine it's what was said.
