I have been toying with upgrading the sights on my norc. I have the two tone "sports" model. Can any one recommend some rellitivly inexpensive sights? I know you get what you pay for but it's only a norc. Thanks all pics to if ya wanna share

Trijicons and Meprolites are around $150 depending on what type of firearm for front and rears. Fiber optic ones are also pretty cool although the fiber optic can/do come loose. I would suggest biting the bullet and pay up for the good stuff. They last at least 10 years. I just replaced Meprolites which lasted 25 years and could probably go on for at least 2 more. Inexpensive night sights could be an expensive mistake. Doesn't matter if they are on a Norc or a Les Bauer

I put a set of Truglo fibre optic sights on my Norc and so far so good. They were $50 from Brownells. They are for a Kimber, but mine is a GI, so I would have had to machine the slide no matter what sights I added. They are not adjustable though.

Your best bet is to try EE first. There's almost always a steady flow of take off's that you can re-purpose. You'll have to put in a bit of time with a file or drill and tap a set screw or 2 but most novak/heinie style sights can be made to fit without a huge amount of effort.

Next best would be to source some older S&W plastic sights from a Sigma ( pn: 10792-1 ). Nice sight picture and easy to work with.
