1911 slides

Does anyone know how much work it would take or if it could be done to put an Amt 7' slide on a regular 1911 frame, can all 1911 parts be interchanged?

If it is the 7 in. slide from the .45 AMT longslide, if you have a 7 in. barrel it should all go together .There might be some fitting necessary, but probably no more than fitting any other parts together. THE EXTRACTOR on my AMT GOVERNMENT MODEL slide is a little different than the Colt style extractor but the Colt style extractor will fit and work, with some fitting like all extractors..

Thanks Bearman What I found was a complete upper slide barrel bushing guide rod ETC. I've been trying to find the 7 inch for some time but not having much luck.
