1911 spare parts

I am considering getting some spare parts for my 1911A1 clone made by Norinco.

Which ones do you advice me to buy? I first thought of firing pin, firing pin stop, extractor and slide stop.

As for the brand, I know Wilson Combat Bullet Proof and Ed Brown Hardcore. Should I get the parts from one of those manufacturers or I'd better get some Norinco parts?

The parts may look like they are machined poorly, and may not be as tight fitting as they should (bushing, extractor), but they hold up, and so far I have not broken anything in about 2000 rounds. Springs are still good too, not to sure how long they last but I plan to only replace them when/if they break which should be a long while.
 
If you shoot a lot, you might want to carry a disconnector. The slide action will wear the top of the disconnector down. This is one cause for doubling. The rest of the parts you mentioned are a good choice.

Does that happen with all disconnectors or just the Norc ones? Approximately, after how many rounds may that happen?

Eventually, since I'm not hearing many --zero-- complains about Norc parts failure I must guess they're good enough? I say so because i.e. for the price of a Wilson slide stop I can buy most of the spares under the Norc brand.

So unless there's good reason for buying otherwise I guess I'm going to stick with Norc parts. Besides that I could buy a second Norc for the price of a full set of brand-name parts.

Are STI parts cast or forged?
