I have been pondering selling my Springfield Armory 1911 PX9105MLP Loaded Full-Size MC Operator in .45 ACP.
I don't have time to play with her, and it kind of bothers me to have this beauty just sitting in the safe.
I have had it maybe 2 years. I think the round count is at 75 ish. So its in near new condition.
Just wondering what these are going for.
This is the link ~ http://www.springfield-armory.com/armory.php?version=34
Thanks for any info
Kev

Thought a pic may help with an guestimated value. Thinking of putting this in a local auction. Just wondering what it might bring.
Thanks
Kev

I'd say hold on to it. Use it when you. Nothing stops you from taking it out of the safe and running some cqb with it in your house.:)

I would buy it from you if you had more feedback. lol, no offense.

Ouch. So I guess you were never a newbie on this forum

I would sell it to you but it says your from Montreal. lol, no offense.
If I do sell it I would prefer to find a local buyer. Not a fan of EMT, or Canada post

The problem is that there simply aren't that many of these pistols available in Canada, in your position I'd call Wolverine and ask what a new one costs, and that's what I'd charge (assuming near new condition). The reason is that it would take a really motivated buyer 3 months to get their hands on one and you have one right now. I might add 12% to cover what taxes you paid.

Keep the gun, it will be very hard to replace it. I spoke to the Distributor, they have had $2 million worth of back orders for 2 years that SA cannot fill. That would be one of the hardest models to replace.

Keep it, you will definitely regret it. That's one of the better 1911's out there and like many members have said, they are rare and hard to get your hands on. I guarantee if you sell it (my estimated value is $1400-$1500) you will never be able to get another 1911 with the quality, fit & finish, color combo (more unique), forged frame/slide/barrel, series 70 trigger system (way better trigger feel than series 80), piccatinny rail (best looking rail IMHO) and last but not least, the "OPERATOR" roll mark, for what you sell it for. Trust me, I've got a Colt Combat Elite, Sig TacOPs and the Operator as well. I hope I will never have to sell any of them, but if I ever had to, the Operator would be the last to go.:)
