1911 standard magazine lock.

Does anyone know where i can buy a factory magazine lock or catch for a STI 1911 Trojan or will they all fit the 1911's. Thanks in advance.

Trojan is standard build, anyone will fit. Try Armco....

I just put a Wilson Combat "1911 AUTO BULLET PROOF® MAGAZINE RELEASE" in my Trojan - got it from Brownells, it's part number 965-000-059 . I had to adjust it to fit because the screw in the Mag Catch Lock would not turn enough to lock the magazine release into the frame and allow the magazine release to actuate. Took about 5 minutes with a needle file to widen the notch in the magazine release and then a little touch-up re-bluing. It was the extended one, and works great now. Magazine release is much easier, and magazine insertion is really smooth - don't even have to depress the magazine release as I insert the magazine.
