Hey, I had posted in gunsmith forum at first asking for a reference, but decided to have a go at it myself.
So far I am a few hours in and all is going good enough, I have fitted many SVI components in an STI gun. Trigger has a little prep, short reset, measured and breaks consistently at 2.5#, quite happy
There is one detail I have yet to figure out.
The disconector Seems to rub on the slide hard. While cycling the gun everything goes well, but if I pull the slide back and very slowly ride it forward, it will stay open catching on the disconector. My question is, should I let it settle in on it's own or should I slightly start polishing the pointy end that contacts with slide?
