1911 vs Walther PPQ

Okay i have done a fair bit of research on both firearms but have only shot a 1911 at the range that shot like crap. Was curious on what everybody thinks about each one.

1911 is a rather broad description, there are many different kinds. The PPQ is a neat pistol but it's totally different; it is a striker fired polymer pistol. Do you have something more specific you want to know?

I just got the Remington R1 enhanced three weeks ago, very well balance, extremely accurate (I was surprise on this one), it is a full size 1911, almost not much recoil than my Beretta 92fs.

Best choice for the price compare to others more $$$

I've got the PPQ and several 1911's. The PPQ is a great tactical/combat pistol that I would be able to carry all day being so light but its not as accurate as a good 1911 in .45 and doesn't absorb the recoil as well as the 1911.
