1911a1 "New Version of the Goverment" ...

I am referring to to the expected delivery dates:

1911a1 "New Version of the Goverment" September 2010

I was wondering if this is a new version - or the same one you have been selling.

And if there are some available - I will be buying a sport model this weekend.

CONFUSION;

Perhaps we were not clear enough, the Sports models, often called the "new version" are now available.... It has all the bells and whistles....

Later this year we will be introducing an improved 1911a1, it will be a basic 1911 pistols with minor cosmetic changes, nothing drastic....

Does these mean we can start sending our orders in for the sport 1911 or do we have to wait until the website gets updated?

Hi,
Is there any Norinco M-1911A1 'Government' .45 ACP left?
I am really interested in buying a all original M-1911 A1 with only ONE tone (blued or park.).

Thanks.

Just placed my order for a Blued Sport 1911... so they're now 349?

the web site says 325, how many mags?

I also wonder how the trigger pull on those is. I have a NP-28 and it was unbearable before it got a trigger job.

I really don't want to spend $400 inc. shipping and tax and then have to spend another 200 on a target hammer and trigger job.

Any info would be helpful

Hmmpf... ...I asked about this new model back in february and nobody bit. I have since found a picture on a norc corporate site that has what looks like a typical 1911a1 (no rib on top) but has novak styled sights. The hammer and trigger are similar to the ones on the sport b. The grip safety is not a beavertail; however, it has the ed brown type bump on the bottom. The thumb safety and slide release are standard - not extended. I haven't posted pic due to technical incompetance; however, if someone wants to drop me a line i can forward it via e-mail.
