Your rifle has many factory inspector markings. Each inspector had a unique stamp which showed his individual number and the factory to which he was assigned. These are called inspector stamps or view marks. they can tell a story of where hte gun has been for repairs.
The barrel is Canadian service marked (arrowhead inside a C). Barrel was proofed and fitted at the BSA factory in 1917. Has also been to the Enfield factory for barrel work (EFD view mark)
Bolt head is made out of Malleable cast iron (M).
Barrel has been fitted to two other rifles before it got put onto this one, the two previous numbers have been struck out, sometime before 1925. Barrel work has been done at Sparkbrook (crown over B over number), Enfield (crown over number over E), and BSA (crown over number over italic B). Rifle serial number is N98382.
Butt stock (if that what pic is) is made by RSAF Enfield post 1924 (symbol is E superimposed F superimposed D to make a combined factory logo), and was a spare part in stores when it was inspected during a 1% of inventory audit (arrow with the oo) .
Nosecap is British govt marked (arrow) and made by BSA (crown over number over italic B).
C on the cocking piece is unknown. Could be a batch or casting mark, could be a subcontractor mark.
