1932 Remington value

Hello all. Does anyone know what is the value range of Remington single shot from around 1932? It's in excellent shape , I do not know what to offer the guy...
He is asking 300 seems like way too much for a single shot.

Not much info to go on. Rifle, pistol, shotgun, caliber, model?

Single shot .22 rifle. Believe it is model 33.

Seems a little high to me. I bought a model 34 repeater about 2 years ago. It is in very nice original condition with the Lyman peep sight. I paid $230.0 for it and some say that was high enough.

Awesome. That's about what I have found. He says he saw it selling for 400. Oh well Internet stupidity...
