Agreed. Hit the market,do the research. Post it for what you think it's worth, the market will do the rest. The stock and escutcheons are correct for the year of manufacture.

Im on all the other gun sites and have already checked. The prices vary so much. I didnt know if certain markings, year etc make much of a difference. Probably nothing really special a out this one then….

Nothing really special about it. It's a refurbished specimen and IF THE BORE IS EXCELLENT might fetch $500+ With a pitted bore, depending on how bad, as low as $350.

I saw a very similar rifle at the Salmon Arm gunshow last October, is that the same one????

The vendor had $600 on it but wouldn't budge on the price as it was a consignment with a fixed by seller price.

The bore on that rifle was about 50% worn, as well as pitted. So shooter grade only and the bolt numbers were forced matched, which isn't a biggie on a refurb.

Thanks for the reply. This rifle was never at a gun show. Not any time in the last 10 or years anyway. I will check the bore tomorrow.

Original production in 1936 in Izhevsk. Refurbished after the war in the arsenal#7 in Riga. I'm not sure if this is a quality of picture#1 but it looks to me like the barreled action is parkerized (or something similar) not blued. The stock seems to be original although on picture#2 I see something like a small cutout at the first handguard ring? Not sure. If indeed the cutout was there, the stock would not be period original. The buttstock has some scratches?
Obviously, the rifling is important. All in all, nothing special. It's probably worth $400-500 if the rifling is O.K. to make it a good shooter.

Awesome. Thanks for the reply. Picture is good. Definitely looks parkerized and not blued. Im not sure about the notch though. Cant see anything out of the ordinary on the rifle. This info gives me a good idea of what to list it for.
