Doubt it's got any reference to the state of Israel, but was wondering if anyone had any thoughts.
The gun has been across bubba's kitchen table. Drilled for one peice scope base.
Everything actually does match other than the stock and bolt. Down to the action screws.
Stock is Israeli I believe, no 7.62 mark, beech I believe.
Bolt is not matching, but all parts do match itself.
Stock is hogged out for a forged bolt, I'm guessing that was the fate of the original one, as the one that is on now is unmolested. Obviously that had to be done to clear the scope, as I found out, only with the highest possible standard rings, will it barely clear the tiniest scope.
No other suspicious markings, and reichsadler proofs are crisp and intact.
