Important aspect...condition!! Does it work, fire reliably, any breaks, cracks in the stock, rust on the metal, etc.
There were a couple at the last show...check the thread on the Calgary Gun Show.
To a dealer they are worth $500...they would then be listed by the same dealer at over $1500 depending on condition...a good starting point is anywhere from $1200 to $2500.
Detailed photos help as well as details of stock condition, mechanical operation (all parts present and functional).
Nice piece by the way!!!!!

Whoever told you $500 either:
A) knows something about the gun we don't
B) was pulling your arm
C) is trying to screw you out of a nice gun.

You'll get more money for it depending on how accurately described it is. Most of these guns have buggered bores, so if yours is nice, points for you.

Alonzo said the rest.

The eye of the buyer...

I would gladly pay $1000.00 for it right now (and probably more if I had the cash) just judging by the one and only picture you posted. But a Johnson is a dream, just as a complete, unsanded, untouched Ross M-1910 is...
PP. :(

havent decided what im going to do ill keep the replies in mind for now
their is just such a dif in price from can to the us

Nice gun !
Nicer shape cosmetically than the one that I have access to, but mine works\shoots and has a much, much lower serial number....if that has any bearing on its' value.

dont know about the ser # some one told me a 2000 could be assemble before a 0100 because no ser # match on the guns Not shure, that is what i was told maybe someone could corect me on that,

This one looks nicer than the ones I saw at the Easter show this year. Prices at the show were around 1800. I'd say you should list yours for 1900-2000, if the stock hadnt been sanded I'd say 2300 ish.

i never said anyone was cheap or trying to screw me i know colector items go up and down and with the can price right now i think ill hold on for now
thanks all
