Gentlemen,
These files tell us of a very MAJOR problem with the M1 Garand and RAIN. Check the dates of this problem. It's 1942 and we are at WAR. Let me know what you think. And how would you fix the problem ? Remember, If you need a better copy just email me.

Some of these posted before. Others are new data files.
Warning, before you go to my sites lower your volume as the opening page contains a sound file which has a loading and firing of the M1 Garand. So if you're at work or home it may be wise to check your volume control.

Gentlemen you know what to do. Not going great but some guys have bought Vol. 1 or Vol. 2 of the Garand Papers. TIA

Thanks again

Thanks, interesting doc. I LMAO at the "immediate action" described in #2... the image of pointing a rifle at my nutz and stomping on the op handle. Just wouldn't seem prudent... still LOL

Gentlemen,
Ordnance spent about 100,000 dollars trying to fix this problem. Finally they took it to Mr Garand. He stated that they use "grease" and not light oil. Bingo the problem was fixed.
Thanks again

ps maybe just maybe you would want to see the really WEIRD data in one of my books. just had to get that in TIA

Shoot wish I had seen this earlier to guess. I knew that question too. lol.

And c9er, have you been in the cf? I remember having to "kick start" many c9's that jammed. But I didn't say that. ;)
