Finally got this one today and took it out to see how the old girl shoots. I was pleasantly surprised when the 150 grain Speer's shot under an inch at 75 yards.
I cleaned up the stock with linseed oil and did the usual metal cleanup and checked the headspace etc.
Its all original even down to the LB stamps on the barrel bands and the bolt head is a #1 with a small LB marking.
There is no England stamps and all the proof marks are LB.
The stock is marked on the wrist with a C and a broad arrow in it. Whoo hoo ,all Canadian.
There is only one slight little minor problem, the bore is slighly pitted but still shiny and shoots perfect.
The Longbranch is a long lost cousin to my BSA No4Mk1 and the family reunion is going very well.
