I was wondering if anybody could help me? I got a 1944 No 4 Mk 1 rifle from my grandfather a few years back and was thinking of selling or trading it, what would the value be of it. The serial numbers on the barrel , receiver and bolt match. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. I have pics and trying to figure how to post them.

There is a sticky on how to post pics to the gunnutz site and it will walk you through all the steps. As to the value of your rifle, there are several factors to consider. Is it single shot with the original .303 magazine or does it have the Sterling conversion? Does it have the PH target sight? Is the stock cut down? Is the stock walnut or birch? For sure, pics are needed to get an accurate idea of the current value. Also, do a google search on DCRA Lee Enfields and it will take you to several gun boards where you can get an idea of what yours is worth.
