1946 BSA trianing rife

Hey, i am trying to find some info on this rifle. How many are there out there and if they are expensive? It is a .22.

Lots of them made, lots made into gopher and chuck rifles. Prices vary a lot, depending on condition, sights, etc. Figure around $250 (what a rough, complete action should be worth) on up.
