1950's Yugo 8mm mauser

I had 2 boxes of 50's yugo surplus a while back, and found that each round expanded a lot in the chamber and made extracting the shells difficult sometimes. Does this usually happen with 8mm Yugo surplus? Just wondering before I consider buying more...

That sounds odd. Where the cases discoloured at all? I've never had brass cased surplus from any date cause issues unless it had visible corrosion on the outside. Could have also been a bad batch from the factory.
