Can someone explain how to tell if this riffle was as issued. Has original parts and wood stock and a golden bayonet. Parts so far look brand new and the barrel is not chrome lined.

Impossible to say much without photos. Lots of HD closeups of all the stamps, serials, internal and external surfaces, bayonet lug both sides, and the muzzle crown and every square inch of the rifle..

No chrome lining is standard for the 1951 carbines.

If I remember right I told you to buy that rifle from West Rifle . and if I remember right they didn't start to Chrome line the barrels on sks rifles till 1953. as I told you clean it after shooting it if the ammo is corrosive. totally take it apart and flush with boiling water then oil it . but never put oil inside the bolt. you always want the firing pin to free float. all the rifles from west rifle are sold out . some people say the non chrome lined barrels are more accurate than the chromed ones. you have asked this same question in the past if I also remember right . you will have to post photos of the rifle . very clear ones. are all numbers matching > mag etc ? and it's a 1951. does it have the date on the side of the stock and a star and the same number stamped below the star on the side of the butt stock ?

are there little stamps around the cross bolt on one or both sides . the cross bolt is in the center of the stock just ahead of the bolt . and on the other side of the stock there should be another inspection stamp . keep it or sell it . good luck finding another . and who cares if it was issued as long as it's mint or near mint. good luck .
