Though I'd like to share my latest acquisitions with the members here, however I still don't have the ability to post attachments.

photobucket is free, and you could post pics here (and at your other forum without needing to be a member to view them) photobucket even makes it super easy for you to post pics by having all the image urls pre-tagged for BBS code
 
You need to host your pics on the web and link them here. You don't/won't "have the ability" to post attachments to CGN.

rchmontreal : on gunboards you used the word " unissued " if so then you just busted the myth that russian SKS unissued do not exist .:)

Well, that answers the question about attachments. I assumed when the Posting Rules stated "you cannot post attachments" the forum required a certain amount of "time-in" to obtain that status. I'm used to the Gunboards set up, and upload pics from my files. I've never tried the other methods yet.

Speckfire, thanks for attaching these pics. Nope, R011 all the way, A Sqn. Initially Recce in Kaiser Jeeps, then Cougars. Attended the first gunnery course offered at CFB Calgary and Wainwright. "Reference lone tree ...."

Long time ago now, it seems.

I'll be posting more pics at Gunboards later.
