My grandfather had this pistol and it was supposed to go to me in the inheritance but now as things are starting to close there has been a roadblock. Members of the family have started to talk money and will not let a spoon leave without a dollar figure on it.

Do any of you have an idea of price on these guns?

The book of modern gun values lists is from $250 in good condition to $325 in perfect condition. I understand this is in US prices so not sure how that correlates here. It is not museum quality but in good to very good condition.

I went through all the hassle to get my restricted just so that I could keep this gun in the family and it may have all been for not.

Thanks guys

I sold a very good condition 64 Nomad (aluminum frame)with one mag recently for $350.The gun values books are a bit behind the times in valuating guns as prices seem to have risen in the last few years. Also,if you sell the gun with more than one mag, that upps the price. The original Browning mags have become very expensive($90 or so).Rather keep the gun, they are really great classic old school guns and they arent making anymore of them!

I want to keep it, but it looks like I have to buy it from the estate, so I need to get a concrete value on it before they will transfer it to me.

Thanks, this is the ballpark I was thinking, it only have 1 mag with it.
