1973 Chile Coup (what rifle??)

Occasionally I find myself reading some history or seeing random historic black and white images. I found something that maybe the Black Rifles community can help me identify. My guess was it was a FAL or some kind of FAMAE or even listed as a SIG but you tell me. The images show a rifle with a really slim handguard.

The more I look at the pictures, the more confused I get at what rifle it really is..... rough times for Chile in the past.
 
Close. The Stgw 57 was chambered for 7.5mm Swiss and produced for domestic use.

The rifle pictured is the SIG 510-4, a variant of the design chambered in 7.62 NATO and produced for international sale.
