I have tried looking online but most of the info is old even on this forum. Any idea what they are worth? 20 inch barrel 1/7 twist and how would they compare to a colt from today?

I had that exact model in the late 1980s. Excellent quality and super accurate but a little outdated now, although I liked the government profile barrel way more than the HBAR profile. Hard to say what the value is...they’re not common but they’d have most interest to someone looking for a nostalgia fix. Maybe $1000 or so?

Used to have one and it is a nice gun. I sold mine for 1000 bucks many moons ago. Not sure it is collectible anymore because it uses large hole pivot pins with many PC features. With the availability of Colt and FN military classic lines that offer factory M16A4 clones, unless someone is hell bent on having a Colt AND an older M16A2 clone, it could be a tougher sell these days. The 'cloners' will most likely buy a factory A4 clones and swap the upper out for a almost true clone.

Yeah $400 too $500 for me if that. Old gun. Politically correct features are a bore in 2018

Scroll down a few and you'll find one here. I think it's priced a little steep but it does look like a decent example.

Yes it does have bayo lug and I saw the one at Williams which is why I was asking thoughts on here because for $1750 which I thought was pretty high. Tenda has Colt Canada SA for $1699 and Colt LE6920 for $1399. Thanks again guys for the input.

^^^ I fondled the one at Williams and it is nice. But like I said, a little steep.

If you're interested in it find out if it's a consignment. I've found Williams prices consignments a bit on the high side. If it is you can make them an offer. I've bought a couple from them this way. Usually they know the minimum price the owner will take.

Never hurts to ask.
