19th century proof mark?

Here’s one that has me and Pinfire stumped. Can anyone here identify this proof mark? He looked through his information and I’ve searched everywhere and we can’t find anything on it. Perhaps it’s a proof or maybe a makers mark. Looks a lot like a proof of some sort though.
If anyone knows please divulge and add your knowledge to this. It’s an F BB inside the diamond and what would appear to be a crown and plumage or flur de les. It’s on a 19th century breechloading 16ga shotgun.

I would say the mark depicts Prince of Wales Feathers and Coronet, implying a Royal warrant held by the maker.
