#1mklll safety

I had a question in "gunsmithing" with no response so mabee here is a better place to ask.Basically I want to know if anyone else has noticed the safety on a #1mklll being really stiff.See post in gunsmithing sec for details..

Check to see if all the requisite parts of the safety are there. The screws should snug up and the safety should rotate freely. Try the safety operation with the bolt removed. If it functions OK, there may be a burr on your cocking piece where the lock engages. There may be problems within the safety....a worn lock or spring...in this case replace the safety completely. Post a couple of pic's of the components...maybe we can identify the malfunftion.
