Today me and my brother went out and shot off a few rounds, i've never tried this ammo before, my marlin 795 seemed to really liek it, no issues at all with the shots I fired. the grouping is at 50 yards, 10 rounds, pretty sure everyones seen better, it was shot from me leaning on a bench using the bipod. i'm sure if I could have done it from a sitting position it would have been a bit better (the range we prefer to go to was closed this weekend), anyway I still felt that I wanted to share, i've had this rifle for about 3 weeks, and been back into shooting for about that long.

thanks for looking, I look forward to trying again and posting better results. really enjoying shooting again

Very well done!! Considering bulk ammo is always subject to the odd "flyer", it appears you have a good handle on what it takes. Keep up the practice, and try some ammo that is even more consistent, it should tighten those groups more. Regards,

thanks for the coments guys :) , i'm defenatly planning on trying a few boxes of better ammo, was going to buy some but just got this stuff at wal-mart (lol) they dont have the largest slection, I think next time i'm going to buy a few different boxes of ammo and start playing around with that, but its also nice to have a large box that you dont mind fireing off for cheap fun. I plan to work my way up to 100 yards with decent groupings, i've shot it at 200 yards at an 18" gong and hit it consistantly with american eagle 40 grain round noses (cheap cheap), but so far my groups at 100 are less then impressive IMO, all on the paper, but might aswell use a shotgun, same result.
