1st handgun! / ammo experience advise (9mm)

- Do NOT buy alum cased ammo, CZs hate it, and it's not reloadable.

- Start picking up your (and others') brass. Ask permission if picking up others' brass, it's their property till they refuse it.
You will use the brass later when you start reloading. It'll be once fired brass too.

I like Blazer and CCI brass a lot, followed by Federal and S&B, followed by Win. Winchester brass will live longer thou.

+1 to this. I tried the aluminum blazer in my SAM and it gummed the chamber up so bad it wouldn't feed. I even had the extractor tear through the rim of one cartridge and leave a fired casing in the chamber. Had to beat it out with a cleaning rod, ended my day until I could break it down and clean it out. The aluminum cases leave residue in the chamber. Stay away! It isn't that much more for brass. I like the AE 124g.

Man I don't like CZ guns at all only thing worse then a 1911 is a CZ.....

But that is a nice looking gun when the wife get's over my recent spending spree. I may have to go look at one of those
