As some you know my oldest son thats 12yr old is quite an acomplished trap shooter. Well today his younger brother who's 9 yrs old made his shooting debut at the gun club. He came out and shot his first round of trap today. He shot 18/25. It wasn't a regulation round though. I set the machine to throw straightaways from station 3 and then had him move around the stations so he had some angles. I figured I start him off slowly. He was shooting his 21" barreled full choked 20ga pump with some real light 1100fps 3/4oz loads of #8's. I was really surprised how hard they smashed the targets. He left with a big smile and was asking on the way home if he could go back again next week to shoot some more. It looks like my shooting bill is going to be going up again.
