1st shot out of my new Mossberg 500

I picked up a Mossberg 500 last month, I wasn't sure about it because I love my 870 but, the price was right for the Real Tree camo package with a turkey barrel, rifled barrel, and a field barrel.

Never had a chance to get to the range to pattern the thing and (against better judgement) took it out for the spring turkey hunt.

After about 4 days and 40 hours of sitting on my ass, I dropped a 20 lb tom!

I'm thinking about retiring it with a 100 % success rate.

Congratulations!

I did that with a new fishing rod once.

First cast off the beach, got a 10 pound salmon.

Hardly ever caught anything again with that rod.
