2 3/4 to 3in?

Can a 2 3/4, 12ga barrel be converted to 3 in?

Way more information is needed before that question can be answered properly.

Need to know make, model and gauge. Barrel contour may even be a factor. Also, are you just wanting to know about converting a barrel, or converting a shotgun.

It's a Beretta 301 in 2 3/4

Find a smith with the appropriate reamer and taper reamer and go for it.

The issues I see that can affect the project are the chrome lined bore and the size of the gas ports.

I'd leave the chamber alone and find an ammo that you like.
