Before I begin, as my account is new you can look me up at Crowca or Crowca2. I have been here for a while. Crowca3 is a new account opened do to issues.

To begin we are looking for two hunters to join our group of six to eight hunters for the winter months December to mid March.

We have a high of 75 coyotes and a low of 20 coyotes with the average of 35 per winter season.

If you are a smart hunter (and can shoot) you will get from five to seven. If we have a great year you could get 10.

Your odds go up if you know what you are doing and can shoot.

We share the wealth as best we can but it is a crap shoot same as any hunting.

What we offer.

We have the farms to hunt. The knowledge of how to hunt them and a desire to get as many as we can.

What we need are some younger guys (under 50 or in great shape)that can snow shoe or walk a few hours a day.

We have some older hunters who are not capable anymore and the younger ones cannot do it all as we all have limitations.(mine seems to be six hours of walking or snowshoeing)

What we are looking for:

1 Team player (we all eat the #### sandwich equally)

2 Must be committed to every Saturday (within reason)

3 If you have kids in hockey or a wife that you need to be home with, you are not likely our guy.

4 If you have tracking skills and can determine good tracks from bad, bonus points.

5 If you can go during the week and weekends , bonus points.

6 You will need a shot gun and rifle like a 223 243 22-250 204 (could work without for 1 st season if an issue).

7 If you make the cut you would have to buy a 2 way radio (approx 350.00)

8 Must be able to hunt in the Guelph area of Ontario.

9 If you cant walk or want to be a trigger man ,you are not the guy.

10 This is a long term commitment year after year till death. (tire kickers and may be not needed)

If you have any interest at all pm me and give me a few short details why you are are guy. (short)

I will only contact those I think are candidates.

Note this is not a dog hunt but a hard work tracking hunt.

If you think you are coyote crazy like us and can fit in ,we have hunting experience that goes back to the first coyotes that made it to Ontario (our area) back in the day. We can also open up other hunting opportunity's for the right people.

You must be able to safely hunt around houses ,open areas and be smart enough to know when to shoot and when not to shoot. Safety is paramount.

Damn, no gear-wrencher (wife) for me, kid's all grown up, under 45, I'm in great shape, definitely need to make new friends, self employed and available during the week love the idea of snowshoeing for 6 hrs, bring it on! got all the guns I need, 2 small problems tho I'm 3000 km away and heavy snow days on weekends make me adjust my priorities on the fly!

What an excellent offer. I have seen Crow and his buddies on this forum and others for many years now. They know what they are doing and put up a lot of coyotes!!

I'd definitely be interested if it was Sundays as I'm busy Saturdays running hounds for coyotes about 40min east of Guelph

35 yotes per season for a group? Not even worth getting your junk froze off once a week to get a max of 10 dogs! Our small group would hammer over 300 a season when we were going once a week. (Peak was 452)

My personal best was 13 corpses in one sitting, shot my box of ammo out, and could have been 13+1 fox, but I had no more ammo left to finish off the poor little guy.
So if you're group could use a little education on how to get coyotes, I am willing to train.

having hunted coyotes up your way and here at home in Manitoba don't even compare. alberta/sask have a coyote under every second tree. no mile roads everywhere for the road hunters to educate them. and way more coyotes with way less people after them. its a lot tougher hunting here. I imagine Ontario is even tougher, eastern coyotes are tougher to call/hunt.

You might be comparing fruits but you are not comparing apples to apples... Way different here...Maybe if you came here, you would have to give you a few pointers.

I would love to hunt yotes in your area as all I know about it is what I read on here. But if I were to shoot a box of ammo in my area the swat team would show up. Walking from vehicle into a bush with a gun has brought 3 cruisers to check us. We have farms, houses, villages, traffic, horse and buggies, joggers, nature walkers plus dogs and cats and kids playing and antis behind every tree. But we manage to hunt a bit.
Forgot to mention you need written permission even if landowner is hunting with you.

I live in Ontario and work in Quebec in the Montreal area...... I don't particularly like it..... so i try to hurry home...

Today, I made the 100km drive in 13 minutes....... don't get me wrong, the Chevy Cruze was a bit warm when I pulled it into the driveway of my 12 bedroom mansion but it was well worth it......
