2 cz858 questions

So I bought some used fab defence parts for my 858 and have run into a couple issues.

1. Not a 100% sure have to remove to lower pin? Probably a thread already started but I can't find it with the search function.

2. The hardware for the handgrip wasn't included (my fault, should of asked if included). Will the stock handgrip screw work? If not where would one find one?

Yes, you need to remove the lower pin.

For the grip, take your stock bolt to an auto parts store and ask them to match the thread pitch and diameter to a 1" bolt (if i remember correctly). That should do the trick.

I should of asked the easiest way to remove the lower pin, and I assumed it was the right forum since everyone sell their CZ's in the black & green section of the EE.

Best way to do it is with a small hammer and punch but you could get creative and use a nail or something similar if you don't have an auto parts store close by. Just be careful the punch doesn't skip when you hit it and damage the finish! I'd recommend using some green painters tape on the receiver around the pin.

do you have a CZ858 or a CSA VZ58. If you have a CSA that pistol grip screw will work for the Fab Defense grip. How ever if you have the Beaver Barf it won't work. Fab Defense usually ships with a screw in there. Id honestly email Mahal and they will just send you one assuming you bought it new and from them. The lower hand guard you need a hammer and a pin and a little bit of elbow grease. Just make sure your punch is on the pin so you don't mar up your paint.
