Spent the afternoon...yesterday learning to disassemble and clean my 305's... Amazing how easy it is once you've done it once.... need to shim the gas system on one of them... I thought it was going to be a bad rifle all the noise it was making before it was apart but it was nice once I reassembled it.. It's started to loosen off again so I'll make or buy some shim washers... I've got a couple op rods comings and a new stock...
I've got one with a 10xx serial and one with a 80xx serial you can see the difference as the serial numbers get larger.. the machining is much better on the 80xx then on the 10xx....
But I can't complain... I think they'll all be good shooters.. One dressed up for me around the house.. One dressed up for the wife.. (she loves her SKS but I'd like to get her onto a domestic caliber...) And who knows what I'll do with the third...
