Guys try to post some data on what you might have found of interest or some different data you have read about. This is one way to learn the History of the M1 Garand.

Looks like I am the only one trying to tell the HISTORY of this RIFLE and with NO Help I may not be able to finish the HISTORY. I know keep my mouth shut and give me all the good data.

Is it the picture quality or does that trigger guard really not have the rear hole?.

I just checked the full pic. It does seem not to show rear hole. Might be a Mis-print or a bad lighting.
