2 quick M305 questions!

1. The design of my FG stock has a raised area at the heel of the stock, where the heel of the receiver rests.... I am assuming I should sand this down right? Is there a certain procedure I should use for that? ie do i have to sealed it in any way after i sand it, or it it ready to paint after?

sorry i lied, it actually seems that on the left side of the receiver area (looking at rifle from behind) rear to the bolt catch release, it dipds down a bit, it seems to have been designed this way, do i fill this to make it level or?????

2. When drilling the welds on the flash hider, do you actually have to end up drilling a bit into the barrel for some of them? if so, how deep is acceptable, just so i know

1. don`t sand this area...it was designed that way.

2. do not even think of drilling barrel....you just need to drill FH to weak the welded spot. it will be enough to remove the FH.

they all have this as far as i know and i wouldn't sand it down as this will cause[i beleive it will] a loose fit when locking the trigger group in place.
