2 things 300 RCM thoughts feelings? Ammo exchange/return

Do you know much about the 300 rcm thoughts feelings.


So have you heard of it being illegal to exchange ammo? This is what I was told when I was in a rush the prior day and bought some ammo not paying attention too much to what I was buying. Ok yes it's my fault I bought the ammo by mistake only seen Hornady 165 and read 300 and stoped I should have kept reading. But is it illegal to return or was that BS and only store policy.


Thinking I got these 2 boxes might have to buy one of these. They aren't popular and seem to be a reloaders thing so looking to get some honest feed back.

I have heard of but paid no attention to the 300RCM, but from a liability standpoint most retailers will not take ammo back, even if it has not been opened. Maybe if ammo had a seal on the box this might change, but doubtful. Same applies to gun powder.

Unfortunately in business you always have to CYA when it comes to avoiding laibility claims.

It seems you may have learned a lesson here, when it comes to firearms ALWAYS PAY ATTENTION.

Just sell them on the EE. Most shops won't return ammunition if it goes against their insurance

Most sales are final on ammo. I think its store policy not law
